Eeeeeek! Dr McRorie has just called... (how often do Consulants call you?!) My platelets have dropped to 30, which is now in the very dangerous category... Scary stuff!

I am starting steroids today, at a massive dose so likely to spend the next couple of weeks feeling a bit icky and VERY hungry!

Oh well... At least it has been spotted, because I am now at risk of impromptu bleeding, so I know what to do if that happens!
